YESTON unveils GeForce RTX 5080 Sakura and Sakura Atlantis flagship GPUs

Yeston, a Chinese graphics card manufacturer known for its themed “Sakura” series inspired by anime aesthetics, has recently unveiled two flagship variants of NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 5080 graphics processing unit: the Sakura (also dubbed “Pupil Bride”) and the Sakura Atlantis OC (referred to as “Swimsuit”). These models continue Yeston’s tradition of waifu-themed designs that first appeared with RTX 30-series and AMD RX 6000-series cards, but notably, the company has opted not to produce an RTX 5090 variant, making these RTX 5080 editions its top-tier NVIDIA offerings. Currently, Yeston’s lineup features the RTX 5090 as its highest NVIDIA model alongside the AMD RX 9070 XT, positioning the Sakura series as premium, eye-catching alternatives for enthusiasts seeking both performance and visual flair.

At the core of both Sakura models is NVIDIA’s GB203 GPU, equipped with 10,752 CUDA cores, delivering a base clock speed of 2295 MHz and a boost clock of 2700 MHz for robust gaming and creative workloads. Memory configuration is identical across the pair, with 16 GB of GDDR7 VRAM operating on a 256-bit bus at 30 Gbps, enabling high-bandwidth tasks like 8K rendering at 120 Hz or 4K at 480 Hz with 12-bit HDR support. Power demands are rated at approximately 360 W, supported by a robust 10+4+3-phase power delivery system and a single 16-pin connector; Yeston recommends pairing these cards with an 850 W ATX 3.0 power supply unit for optimal stability. Connectivity options include one HDMI 2.1b port and three DisplayPort 2.1b ports, catering to multi-monitor setups and high-refresh-rate displays. Physically, both cards adopt a 3.5-slot thickness design, tipping the scales at around 1.5 kg, which underscores their substantial build for effective heat dissipation in compact cases.

Despite their shared internals, the Sakura and Sakura Atlantis OC differentiate themselves through distinct cooling solutions and aesthetic touches that embody their thematic personas. The standard Sakura model features a triple-fan array with three 9.1 cm fans, a vapor-chamber heatsink augmented by seven 6 mm composite heatpipes, and double-ball-bearing fans for longevity and quiet operation, all wrapped in a pink-and-white shroud accented by rainbow ARGB lighting for a vibrant, bridal-inspired look. In contrast, the Atlantis OC variant ups the ante with a hybrid fan setup—one 9.3 cm fan flanked by two larger 9.7 cm fans—paired with the same advanced thermal architecture, but styled in a sleek white theme featuring a subtle breathing ARGB effect that evokes an underwater siren motif. These custom shrouds not only enhance airflow but also maintain the playful, character-driven essence of the Sakura line, appealing to collectors and gamers alike.
