PowerColor Releases Radeon RX 9070 XT Hellhound REVA Edition Graphics Card

As implied by its name, this graphics card belongs to the Hellhound series, though its introduction is somewhat unconventional. Rather than creating a new product line, PowerColor opted to expand the existing Hellhound family with a new sub-series. This mirrors their past strategy when the Devil 13 series was integrated into the established Devil lineup.

PowerColor has unveiled its inaugural character-themed graphics card, the Hellhound REVA Edition, built on the Radeon RX 9070 XT. The card sports a black-and-white shroud accented by frosty blue lighting and includes collectible accessories inspired by REVA, the brand’s new mascot.

The GPU boasts 4096 stream processors and 16 GB of GDDR6 memory operating at 20 Gbps. It features a dual BIOS with two performance modes, offering a boost clock of up to 3010 MHz in OC mode and 2970 MHz in Silent mode. Cooling is managed by three dual-ball-bearing fans, six nickel-plated heat pipes, and a copper base plate with Honeywell PTM7950 thermal material. The card measures 332 mm long (346 mm with bracket) and requires two 8-pin power connectors, with a recommended 800 W power supply.

Each REVA Edition package comes with themed extras, including a magnetic backplate, mouse pad, stickers, pins, and an acrylic figurine.

Pricing for the Hellhound REVA RX 9070 XT varies by region, with an approximate cost of 715 USD in China and €696 in Germany, which translates to about 809 USD including VAT or roughly 675 USD excluding it. Sales commenced on the day of launch in the targeted Asian markets, with immediate availability noted in global retailers such as MindFactory in Germany.
