About Us

Welcome to GAMING BENCH

A YouTube channel and website dedicated to honest GPU and CPU benchmarks, real-world performance tests, and hardware comparisons you can actually trust. We test on real hardware, using real games, and show the numbers that matter: average FPS, 1% lows, and 0.1% lows — alongside temperatures, power draw, and clock speeds. No marketing claims, no cherry-picked results. Just data.

How it started

Gaming Bench started in 2019 as a passion project, testing games on a humble Intel i7-860 with entry-level GPUs, because we wanted to know what real performance looked like on hardware that most gamers actually own.

That same mindset drives everything today. Over the years the channel has grown to 90,000+ subscribers, the hardware lab has expanded to cover 10 GPUs across three CPU platforms, and the scope of content has grown from basic FPS tests to full multi-game GPU and CPU comparisons across every price range.

What started as one person testing hardware in his spare time has grown into a small but focused operation — with Shoaib leading hardware testing, the website, and overall direction, and Awais supporting benchmark production on YouTube. Between the two of us, we keep the content consistent, the methodology honest, and the results trustworthy.

We still spend just as much time testing budget and legacy GPUs as we do the latest flagships. Because “is this card still worth it?” remains one of the most useful questions we can answer — and it always will be.

Who’s behind Gaming Bench

Gaming Bench was founded by Shoaib Mughal — a hardware enthusiast from Pakistan with a genuine obsession with real-world GPU and CPU performance.

Shoaib founded Gaming Bench and personally leads all hardware testing and benchmark methodology, the same hands, the same standards, every single video. With Awais supporting benchmark production on YouTube, the two keep content consistent across all three channels while Shoaib oversees the website, hardware lab, and overall direction of Gaming Bench.

The hardware lab

Every benchmark on Gaming Bench is run on hardware we own and test on ourselves — not borrowed spec sheets, not estimated numbers.

Our GPU library currently spans 10 graphics cards — from the GTX 1050 Ti to the RTX 5070 Ti, covering the hardware range that real gamers are actually using today.

We run two dedicated test benches:

• Mid-range bench — Intel Core i5-12400F with 32GB DDR5-6000 CL30, used for mid-range and budget GPU testing (RTX 2060 through RTX 5060 Ti, RX 9060 XT, and similar).

High-end bench — AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D with 32GB DDR5-6000 CL30, used for flagship and upper mid-range GPU testing to minimize CPU bottleneck across 1080p, 1440p and 4K.

We also cover AM4, AM5, and Intel platforms for CPU bottleneck and platform comparison content across a range of current-generation GPUs.

Every comparison on Gaming Bench is run under identical conditions — same game version, same GPU drivers, same RAM configuration, same storage, and the same in-game settings across every card tested.

A note on borrowed hardware: occasionally we test GPUs or CPUs that we don’t personally own — borrowed from friends or local hardware shops purely for testing purposes, returned after benchmarking. When this is the case, we always disclose it in the description. Borrowed hardware is tested under the exact same conditions as our own, same methodology, same settings, no exceptions.

Our Youtube channels

We currently run three YouTube channels:

GAMING BENCH – Our main channel for GPU and CPU benchmarks, performance reviews, and multi-game comparisons, focused on budget and mid-range hardware from legacy cards to the latest releases. If you want honest performance data before spending your money, this is where to start.
GAMING BENCH – RGB – Focused on high-end and enthusiast hardware, featuring visually enhanced gameplay and flagship GPU/CPU benchmarks.
GAMING BENCH – EXTRA – Behind-the-scenes content, experiments, and single-game benchmark deep dives that don’t fit the main channel format.

This website exists to complement those videos, with written breakdowns, data tables, and benchmark archives you can search and reference any time.
