NVIDIA Unveils RTX Pro 6000 Blackwell GPUs, Starting at €9000

As of now, NVIDIA has not officially launched the RTX PRO 6000 graphics card, with the product still listed as “coming soon” on the company’s website. However, early shipments to select retailers suggest an imminent release. Some outlets across Europe and Canada have already begun listing the GPU, and at least one Reddit user has confirmed personal acquisition of the card.

The RTX PRO 6000 is shaping up to be one of the most expensive professional GPUs on the market. The lowest available price found was €8,982 including 21% VAT, with higher-end listings exceeding €10,900. Businesses may be more focused on the price excluding VAT, which makes the card slightly more accessible but still costly. Even with grants or subsidies—one Reddit user mentioned receiving a $5,000 NVIDIA grant—the final purchase price was higher than the consumer-grade RTX 5090, which currently retails for around $3,000.

Despite the steep cost, the RTX PRO 6000 may be considered a better value in certain professional settings due to its massive 96GB memory capacity, triple that of the RTX 5090. For high-performance workloads in AI, rendering, and scientific computing, this alone may justify the premium.

AMD currently offers no direct competitor in the professional desktop GPU space with comparable memory. Their Navi 4 architecture is limited to a 256-bit memory bus and has not been paired with GDDR7. Additionally, no 3GB GDDR6 modules are currently available, making a 96GB configuration virtually impossible with existing AMD hardware. This places NVIDIA’s RTX PRO 6000 in a unique position as the only desktop GPU offering such advanced memory specifications.
