ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has officially launched the ROG NUC 2025, a groundbreaking gaming mini PC that packs unparalleled performance into a sub-three-liter chassis. Unveiled at CES 2025 and now available in markets like the US and China, this compact beast is designed for gamers and creators who demand top-tier power without sacrificing portability. Powered by the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU, the ROG NUC 2025 redefines what a mini PC can achieve.

At the heart of the ROG NUC 2025 lies the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX, part of Intel’s Arrow Lake-HX Series 2 lineup. This 24-core (8 P-cores + 16 E-cores) processor boasts a turbo clock speed of up to 5.5 GHz, delivering nearly 50% better performance than its predecessor, the Core Ultra 9 185H. Whether you’re gaming, streaming, or tackling intensive creative workloads like 4K video editing, this CPU ensures smooth, responsive performance.
Paired with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU, featuring 16 GB of GDDR7 VRAM and NVIDIA’s Blackwell architecture, the ROG NUC 2025 offers stunning visuals and blistering frame rates. While it’s a laptop-grade GPU, its performance rivals the desktop RTX 5070, making it ideal for AAA gaming at high resolutions.
Measuring just 28 x 19 x 6 cm and housed in a 3-liter chassis, the ROG NUC 2025 is remarkably compact for its power. ASUS has engineered a sophisticated cooling system with dual heatsinks, three fans, and a vapor chamber to keep temperatures in check under heavy loads. This allows the system to maintain peak performance without thermal throttling, a critical feature for such a small form factor.
The ROG NUC 2025 supports up to 96 GB of DDR5-6400 RAM, offering ample memory for multitasking and future-proofing. Storage options include a 1 TB or 2 TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD, with an M.2 2280 slot supporting PCIe 5.0 for blazing-fast load times. Connectivity is equally impressive, with Thunderbolt 4, USB-C Gen 2, six USB-A Gen 2 ports, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.1, a 2.5Gb Ethernet port, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.2. The system can drive up to five 4K displays, making it a versatile hub for gaming setups or creative workstations.
The PC has already been available for preorder in China, and now users in the US can preorder it too. The ROG NUC 2025 is now available in the US for $2,849, featuring the Core Ultra 9 275HX, RTX 5080 Laptop GPU, 32 GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 1 TB SSD.
