AMD unveiled the Radeon RX 9060 XT, a mid-range graphics card built on the cutting-edge RDNA 4 architecture. Scheduled to launch on June 5, 2025, this GPU is priced competitively and packed with modern features, aiming to dominate 1080p and 1440p gaming. Whether you’re a budget-conscious gamer or building a compact PC, the RX 9060 XT promises impressive performance without breaking the bank.
The Radeon RX 9060 XT is powered by the Navi 44 GPU, built on the TSMC 4nm process. Designed for cost-effectiveness and energy efficiency, this smaller sibling to the Navi 48 (found in the RX 9070 series) packs 32 Compute Units (2048 cores), along with 32 RT accelerators and 64 AI accelerators a well-rounded setup tailored for modern gaming and AI-enhanced workloads. One of the standout features of the RX 9060 XT is its boost clock of up to 3.13 GHz making it the fastest GPU (out of the box) ever released by AMD. Custom models are expected to push clock speeds even higher, potentially reaching 3.2–3.3 GHz. Power draw varies between 150W and 182W, depending on the VRAM configuration.


The RX 9060 XT is available in two variants, 8 GB GDDR6 and 16 GB GDDR6. Both variants run on a 128-bit bus and utilize 20 Gbps GDDR6 memory.

The AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT 16 GB graphics card has been shown to be approximately 6% faster than the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB. In addition to its raw performance advantage, the RX 9060 XT also delivers 15% better performance per dollar compared to its NVIDIA counterpart. The RTX 5060 Ti is priced at $379 USD for the 8 GB version and $429 USD for the 16 GB variant, which is the model used in the comparison.

As for pricing, the AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT 16 GB graphics cards will be available at an MSRP of $349 while the 8 GB variant will be launching at $299. At these prices, the RX 9060 XT undercuts NVIDIA.
