ASUS has unveiled its ultra-premium ROG Astral Dhahab Editions of the GeForce RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 graphics cards, now available for purchase at a Dubai-based retailer, Microless. These luxurious GPUs, designed with Middle Eastern flair, come with eye-watering price tags of $9,205 for the RTX 5090 Dhahab OC Edition and $2,589 for the RTX 5080 Dhahab Core OC Edition, reflecting their exclusive design and high-end performance.

The ROG Astral Dhahab Editions, with “Dhahab” meaning “gold” in Arabic, live up to their name by incorporating 6.5 grams of 24K gold plating into their construction. The cards feature a distinctive aesthetic inspired by the Middle East, showcasing a skyline silhouette, Arabic calligraphy, and vibrant blue accents. These design elements, paired with a die-cast frame, quad-fan air-cooling system, and a patented vapor chamber, make these GPUs as much a work of art as they are high-performance gaming hardware.
The RTX 5090 Dhahab OC Edition boasts a boost clock of 2580 MHz (2610 MHz in OC mode), 32GB of GDDR7 memory, and 21,760 CUDA cores, delivering top-tier performance for 8K gaming and professional workloads. The RTX 5080 Dhahab Core OC, while more affordable, offers a boost clock of 2760 MHz (2790 MHz in OC mode), 16GB of GDDR7 memory, and 10,752 CUDA cores, positioning it as a compelling yet still premium option.

Listed on Microless, the RTX 5090 Dhahab OC Edition is priced at $9,205, a supposed 11% discount from its original $11,506 listing, while the RTX 5080 Dhahab Core OC retails for $2,589. These prices reflect a significant markup over their standard counterparts, with the RTX 5080 Dhahab commanding a 158.9% premium over the regular ROG Astral RTX 5080’s $1,799 price tag. The inclusion of real gold and exclusive design elements justifies part of the cost, with approximately $700 attributed to the gold plating alone.
