Bosgame has introduced the M5 AI Mini-PC, powered by the AMD Ryzen AI MAX+ 395 processor. This compact desktop features a 16-core, 32-thread CPU based on AMD’s Zen 5 architecture, clocked at 5.1 GHz, with Radeon 8060S integrated graphics boasting 40 RDNA 3.5 GPU cores and an NPU delivering up to 40 TOPS of AI performance. It comes with 128GB of LPDDR5X memory at 8533 MHz and 2TB of storage, priced at $1,699, which is notably lower than the typical $2,000+ for similar Strix Halo systems.

However, early benchmarks show a single-core score of 2,852, aligning with expectations, but a multicore score of 16,044, below the average of 21,000, likely due to firmware or software issues. The design is noted to be familiar, raising questions about AMD’s strategy in partnering with lesser-known brands like Bosgame for these high-end chips.

The Bosgame M5 AI Mini-PC, powered by the AMD Ryzen AI MAX+ 395, is set to start shipping on June 10. We absolutely do not recommend placing preorders, but the good news is that it can be purchased through PayPal, which offers some protection.
