At the heart of the MS-CF16 V3.0 is its high-speed LPDDR5 memory support at 4800 MHz, configurable up to 16 GB and soldered onboard for compactness and durability. For display capabilities, it offers dual independent outputs via one HDMI port and one LVDS or embedded DisplayPort (eDP) interface, supporting versatile visual applications. Networking is robust with one 2.5 GbE LAN port and one standard GbE LAN port, both accessible via RJ45 connectors, enabling high-speed connectivity in industrial networks. The I/O portfolio is expansive and flexible, including two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports for fast data transfer, two USB 2.0 ports, two configurable serial COM ports (supporting RS-232/422/485 modes), a 16-bit general-purpose input/output (GPIO) interface, and an audio interface for multimedia needs.
Expansion options further enhance the board’s versatility, featuring one M.2 B Key slot for storage devices or cellular modules, one M.2 E Key slot for Wi-Fi or Bluetooth modules, and a single SATA 3.0 interface for additional storage solutions. Power efficiency is prioritized with a 12V DC input, aligning with the board’s low-power ethos. Overall, the MS-CF16 V3.0’s industrial-grade construction, compact form factor, and rich feature set position it as a go-to solution for embedded system developers, industrial OEMs, and system integrators working on smart manufacturing, medical equipment, digital signage, and transportation infrastructure projects. MSI IPC continues to lead in providing durable embedded computing solutions for sectors like smart retail, automation, transportation, and AI-driven systems, with this launch underscoring their commitment to innovation in rugged hardware.
