You play as Tokugawa Takechiyo, a customizable hero who starts defending Edo Castle in 1622 from a yokai invasion and transcends time—guided by the guardian spirit Kusanagi—to alter fate and claim the title of Shogun. Along the way, you’ll cross paths with legendary historical figures like Hattori Hanzo, Minamoto no Yoshitsune, and Yagyu Munenori, weaving myth and history into a gripping tale of heroism.
