Shift Up has officially announced that Stellar Blade will be released on PC on June 11, 2025. The PC version of Stellar Blade will introduce several new features along with exciting additional content. This content will also be available on the PS5 version via a free update patch. Whether you’re experiencing Eve’s mission for the first time on PC or returning as a PS5 player who’s already completed her journey, this update ensures the best experience for all.
PlayStation’s evolving relationship with Denuvo, a DRM and anti-cheat technology. Traditionally absent from Sony’s console ecosystem, Denuvo was introduced as an optional anti-cheat tool for PS5 in 2021. The shift became more significant in 2025 when Stellar Blade became the first Sony-published single-player game to include Denuvo Anti-Tamper in its PC version—a move aimed at preventing piracy and protecting launch window revenue.

However, this decision has sparked controversy, especially due to the game’s unavailability in over 100 countries on Steam, raising concerns about regional restrictions and performance impact. While Denuvo is seen as a tool for securing investments, it also raises debates about player experience and accessibility. Sony’s use of Denuvo reflects a more security-focused publishing strategy as it expands further into the PC gaming market.

Stellar Blade Launches on PC with DLSS 4, FSR 3, Ultrawide Support, and High-Resolution Textures
In PlayStation Blog, the PC version has been optimized to take full advantage of modern hardware, offering upscaling technologies, ultra-wide resolution support, high-resolution textures, and an unlocked frame rate.
DLSS 4, DLAA, Reflex, and FSR 3 Support
One of the biggest highlights of Stellar Blade on PC is its support for NVIDIA DLSS 4. This latest generation of NVIDIA’s Deep Learning Super Sampling technology uses AI to upscale lower-resolution frames into high-quality images, significantly boosting performance while maintaining sharp visual fidelity. In addition to DLSS 4, the game supports DLAA (Deep Learning Anti-Aliasing) for enhanced image quality and NVIDIA Reflex, which reduces system latency for more responsive gameplay.
For AMD users, the game features full support for FidelityFX Super Resolution 3 (FSR 3). Like DLSS, FSR 3 includes frame generation technology, allowing more players to experience smoother frame rates, even on a wider range of GPU models, including some from NVIDIA.
Unlocked Frame Rate and Graphics Settings
The PC release comes with an unlocked frame rate, giving players the freedom to push beyond the typical 30 or 60 FPS caps depending on their hardware. This feature, paired with DLSS 4 and FSR 3, ensures ultra-smooth gameplay and responsiveness particularly crucial for a high-speed, combat-driven game like Stellar Blade.

Ultrawide and High-Resolution Texture Support
Stellar Blade also caters to players with non-standard monitor setups. The game supports ultrawide (21:9) and super ultrawide (32:9) aspect ratios, making it an ideal experience for immersive, panoramic displays. Supported resolutions range from 5:4 to 32:9, giving players complete flexibility in how they want to enjoy the visuals.
For those focused on visual fidelity, the PC version includes high-resolution background textures, with an option to enable 4K textures via the game settings. This ensures a richly detailed world, bringing the game’s post-apocalyptic environments and character designs to life with stunning clarity.

Mann’s Test and New Nano Suit Rewards in Stellar Blade
In Stellar Blade, players will face Mann, the formidable leader of the Sentinels, in a special Boss Challenge designed to test the skills and resolve of the protagonist, Eve. Mann is a seasoned warrior and master of weapons, serving as the bodyguard to Orcal and the guardian of Xion. This intense battle is a rite of passage, allowing players to prove why Eve is truly ‘worthy’ of her powers.

Successfully overcoming Mann’s trial rewards players with the exclusive Royal Guard Suit, an impressive new Nano Suit that enhances Eve’s combat capabilities while also elevating her iconic style. To celebrate the PC launch, all players will also receive the brand-new Crimson Wing outfit as a token of gratitude, adding yet another striking look to Eve’s extensive wardrobe. These new suits not only expand gameplay variety but also deepen player connection to Eve’s evolving story and aesthetic.
Enhanced Facial Animation Support for Simplified Chinese and Japanese Characters
Stellar Blade now supports Simplified Chinese voiceovers, broadening accessibility for Chinese-speaking players. Additionally, Japanese voiceovers are now available for selection in all regions, giving players the option to experience the game with authentic Japanese audio regardless of location. To complement these options, the game features facial animations tailored to both Simplified Chinese and Japanese languages, ensuring natural lip-syncing and expressive performances. These enhancements aim to help more players deeply immerse themselves in Eve’s mission and the impactful choices she faces.
