Rogue Factor Reveals Full PC Specs for ‘Hell Is Us’ Demo Launches Soon on Steam

Developer Rogue Factor has officially shared the complete PC system requirements for their upcoming action-adventure RPG, Hell Is Us. The game runs on Unreal Engine 5, and its hardware demands are notably high even compared to other UE5 titles. To experience Hell Is Us at 4K resolution with Ultra settings, players will need a GeForce RTX 4090. Even with upscaling enabled, the target performance is 30 frames per second, highlighting just how demanding the game is at its highest fidelity. Thankfully, players won’t have to wait too long to try it out. Rogue Factor has also announced that a free demo will be available on Steam from June 2 to June 16. However, console players won’t get access to the demo, with the studio citing “technical limitations” as the reason.

The demo begins at the very start of the game, giving players an early look at its mechanics and gameplay style. According to Rogue Factor, this section is designed to help players gradually get familiar with the core systems. Still, it won’t fully showcase the depth and complexity that the complete game promises. Key aspects like exploration and how the experience evolves over time will become more apparent as the game world opens up.

Additionally, the developers touched on difficulty customization. While Hell Is Us aims to be a tough and rewarding journey, players will have options to tailor the challenge. Three difficulty presets will be available, along with deeper customization for aspects such as enemy health, damage output, aggression levels, and the consequences of death.

“Hell Is Us” is set to launch on September 4 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
