The launch of NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB on April 16, 2025, has shown encouraging early sales figures, according to a recent post by 3DCenter.org. The popular German retailer Mindfactory, reported selling approximately 105 units of the 16GB variant on launch day, with no sales recorded for the 8GB variant.

What’s even more surprising about this launch is that both RTX 5060 Ti models remain in stock and, perhaps more significantly, they are still priced at MSRP. The 8GB version is listed at €399, while the 16GB model comes in at €449. In fact, it’s the first time since NVIDIA’s January 2025 GPU launch that such pricing stability has been observed.

While the RTX 5060 Ti series seems to be off to a stable and more accessible start, the consumer response clearly favors the higher-VRAM configuration. If this trend continues, it may send a strong message to NVIDIA and other manufacturers in 2025, 8GB just isn’t enough.
