Battlefield 6 System Requirements for PC

Behind them, a large explosion erupts on the left, and three fighter jets fly in formation on the right, leaving smoke trails."

Battlefield 6 is the latest entry in one of the most popular first-person shooter series in gaming history. Developed by Battlefield Studios and published by Electronic Arts (EA), it launched on October 10, 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Windows PC.

The game aims to bring back the tactical, intense combat that fans loved in earlier Battlefield titles while adding new systems and fresh gameplay features. It mixes large-scale battles with modern visuals and a deep focus on team play. The game also includes cross-platform multiplayer, a single-player campaign, and large online modes that push players to think strategically.

Battlefield 6 builds on the core strengths of the series. Combat feels dynamic and tense whether you are capturing objectives, coordinating with a squad, or engaged in vehicular warfare. Tanks, helicopters, and jets all play a role in battles that can span wide maps and change rapidly.

One big change this time around is the Kinesthetic Combat System, which gives players smoother control over movement and reactions in firefights. The game also reintroduces classic class roles such as Assault, Recon, Support, and Engineer, giving teams more depth and strategy options.

Another major feature is Battlefield Portal. This mode lets players and creators build their own rules and maps using tools provided by the developers. It gives the community a way to experiment with custom game types and challenge others in unique ways.

Release and Platform Support

Battlefield 6 was officially revealed in 2025 and went through a couple of open beta weekends before launch. Both beta tests drew large crowds and helped EA fine-tune performance and gameplay. The final release on October 10, 2025 was available on major consoles and PC.

Players can get the game through digital stores like Steam, the EA App, PlayStation Store, or Xbox Store. It supports online cross-play, so friends on different platforms can team up or compete together.

For minimum requirements, you’ll need to run at 1080p and 30 FPS on low settings. This setup requires a GPU such as the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060, AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT, or Intel Arc A380 with at least 6GB of video memory, paired with an Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600 CPU. You’ll also need 16GB of RAM (dual channel at 2133MHz), Windows 10, DirectX 12, and around 55GB of HDD storage.

For recommended requirements, there are two performance targets. To achieve balanced performance at 1440p and 60 FPS on high settings, or performance mode at 1080p and 80+ FPS on low settings, you’ll need a GPU such as the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT, or Intel Arc B580 with 8GB of video memory. The CPU should be an Intel Core i7-10700 or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, supported by 16GB of dual-channel RAM at 3200MHz. Windows 11 64-bit is required, along with DirectX 12, and at least 90GB of SSD storage.

For ultra requirements, the game can run at 2160p (4K) and 60 FPS with ultra settings, or at 1440p and 144 FPS with high settings. This demands a GPU like the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX with 16GB of video memory. The CPU should be an Intel Core i9-12900K or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, paired with 32GB of RAM (dual channel at 4800MHz). Windows 11 64-bit and DirectX 12 are required, along with 90GB of SSD storage.

Across all configurations, TPM 2.0, UEFI Secure Boot, HVCI, and VBS capabilities are required, and enabling hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling is recommended.
